I didn't realize how difficult it could be to select a book that many people may be interested in reading. Initially, I chose books that have been published recently, but then received requests to add some classics into the mix. So, for the month of October, and in honor of 'Banned Book Week' which we celebrated last week, I have chosen a selection banned, or challenged, books for our first reading.
If you would like to join us in our discussions, please vote for the book that you would like to read. I'll make a final decision based on the number of votes for each book. Next Wednesday I will announce the October Book of the Month!
